What we built,
and when.
A running log of every meaningful change to Kairo. Started in public April 2026; opened the public beta on June 9, 2026. Everything below shipped to real users — 16 changes across 9 weeks, no "coming soon." What lands next is shaped by what people actually using Kairo tell us.
June 12 · Beta
Beta2 changesThe week sign-in stopped being an obstacle. Google in one tap. Account linking so you never end up with two of yourself. Calendar two-way sync free at every tier.
- New
Sign in with Google · private beta
Sign in with Google is live in private beta. Approved test accounts only during the verification window — everyone else lands on /beta-access where you can request a slot. Once Google verifies our OAuth app, it opens to everyone. The same login powers Google Calendar two-way sync, so connect once and both work.
- New
Linked sign-in methods
Wired your account two ways? So is your sign-in. Add Google to an email/password account (or the other way around) so the laptop, the phone, and the half-asleep typo all land you on the same Kairo. Same email, same account — never a stranded duplicate.
June 10 · Day-after pass
Live3 changesThe morning after launch: tighten the loop. Faster, calmer, more accurate. Less noise, more signal.
- Improved
One voice across Home
Home, the morning brief, Ask Kairo, and the daily digest now all agree on what's hot. The brief leads with the right task by name. The Now / Next / Waiting / Someday panel sorts the same way. The digest packs a quick glance at the day's whole haul. Everything reads as one calm reading of your week — not three.
- New
Live status page
A health page for everything Kairo runs or depends on — app, AI, integrations, email, calendar. A probe checks each service directly and writes the result. The exact last-checked time is in the page header. If something flips from operational, subscribers get an email and the incident lands in a public timeline.
- Improved
UI + UX upgrade pass
A sweep of the surfaces you touch every day. Kairo AI now tidies up (pin, archive, delete — each lands instantly). The ambient strip on Home finds your actual city. Mobile got a proper drawer menu and tighter landing layout. The brand mark sheds its dark tile and adapts to every surface. Profile and Account each have their own settings tab. Reviews preview before they post.

Late April · Foundation
Build1 change- Foundation
The capture loop
Tasks, events, notes, decisions, docs — the foundations the rest of Kairo would stand on, all wired up with private-by-default access from day one.
Week 1 · Idea
Idea1 changeAfter years of Slack / Notion / ClickUp setup tax, the founder sketched a different shape: an operating layer that already knows what a week looks like.
- Foundation
Kairo, the idea
Three principles set the direction: calm is a feature, memory beats search, AI is connective tissue not the headline.
We built the start. You shape the rest.
Everything above was the foundation — opinionated, deliberate, and on us. What lands next comes from people living inside Kairo. Send a bug, we fix it. Sketch a flow, we sketch back. Push on a default that's wrong, we change it. The log keeps growing in public, and if you want credit next to the change you sparked, it's yours.
A short email when something worth a read lands.
No marketing, no growth-hacks. Just the changes that actually change how Kairo feels, written like the rest of the log. Double opt-in, one-click unsubscribe in every email.
